Satish Talim is promoting on his blog the RPCFN (Ruby Programming Challenge For Newbies), a bi-weekly program for people starting with Ruby. Maybe even if you already know Ruby, this can be a good opportunity too learn more about the language characteristics.

The first challenge involves shifting the time of a subtitles file (srt), and it was proposed by Fabio Akita. I have already sent my proposed solution. Maybe it is not the best one (they are also giving prizes to the best solutions), but I have already learned a lot about things I didn’t payed attention before.
